Afternoon Everyone!
My wonderful breakfast held me over beautifully as usual and I easily made it all the way through the morning and well into the afternoon before needing replenishment.
When our tummies started to rumble, my co-worker Michelle and I headed over to Bocca for a little Monday treat to ourselves.
Despite the number of times that I’ve promised to myself that I will try something new from here…I can never pass up the salads once I get there.
They really are a thing of beauty, no?
Today’s mix included: mixed greens, grilled chicken, kidney beans, carrots, cucumbers, broccoli, celery and balsamic vinaigrette.
To mix it up a little bit (and because it actually looked decently ripe), I grabbed a side of watermelon to have as well -
It was a nice change. I ate all the viable pieces and chucked the more discolored ones. I LOVE watermelon but it’s near impossible to get your hands on any decent fresh fruit in the winter!
And of course on the side I snagged a piece of free sourdough bread -
Perfection.
Afterward, Michelle and I couldn’t resist playing tourist for a few pictures.
It’s impossible not to with all the amazing holiday decorations
I’m now happily stuffed to the gills and ready to dive into the second half of this day.
Thanks for all your yoga encouragement! That will definitely give me the motivation I need to go home and do it tonight!
Until then folks!

I’ve never regretted a yoga session. Just sayin! And that bread looks amazeballs.

Haha – I know. I’m always so glad after I do it, but I’ve just seriously been lacking the motivation to get it done lately!
And haha – YES. It was “amazeballs”

That salad does look fantastic. I eat salads all the time but have never put beans in the mix. Will have to try it out.

I definitely wouldn’t be able to pass up that salad, either! Such a summery meal – and then you reminded me of the real season with those AWESOME red ornaments….ahh city life.

Haha – I know, it did feel very summery. It almost felt wrong to be eating it in the 30 degree weather, but I got over that reaaaal quick. Haha
