gooood morning!
And what a good morning it has been!
First of all though, I loved Julie&Julia! If you haven’t seen it, I definitely recommend it to you. It was a definite feel-good movie. I think Mike had a bit of a different opinion…haha. So my other recommendation would be to see it with your good girlfriends (especially if your significant other is not quite as understanding and flexible as mine!)
Mike and I contemplated the age old question: eat in or eat out.
Ultimately we decided it hadn’t snowed enough to deter us from sucking it up and walking to the store to get what we needed to make a nice breakfast at home.
And boy am I glad we did! It was so delicious!

We picked up Bob’s Red Mill High Fiber Pancake & Waffle Mix for our pancakes and HOLY YUM!

These babies were absolutely amazing!
We also bought a berry mix to have on top of the pancakes

I warmed these up a bit so they were gooey and soft on top of the delicious pancakes.

Drizzled with a little sugar-free syrup. Perfection.
While I worked with the pancakes Mike took on the more manly task of eggs and meat

They both came out fabulous.
The meal was rounded out with some wonderful harrods coffee

mmm mmm good.
My final plate ended up looking like this:

Mike’s looked a little different:

Haha. Boys.
We’re currently still lazing around in bed watching Friends.
Yoga is later! YAY
Happy Saturday Everyone!

Julie & Julia was such a great movie. I thought that Meryl Streep was fabulous in it, and I love the overall message of food lovin’!

Your pancakes look great.
Jason and I were the opposite of you and Mike. He liked Julie & Julia. Me, not so much. (Yes, I am the only food blogger who didn’t like it, I think.)

Haha – that’s too funny! I don’t know why I liked it so much, I just thought it was so endearing and cute. Sometimes it totally depends on the mood you’re in!

Wow! what a breakfast, it looked absolutely delicious. I love fresh strawberries, but they are not easy to find at this time of the year
