the lunchbox series: number six

If you’re new to the series, visit the very first post here.  The goal is to feature dietitian-approved packed lunches that hopefully give you a little inspiration for your next packed lunch!

In each lunchbox lunch, I’ll aim to include a whole grain, lean protein (including dairy), healthy fat, fruit and/or vegetable.  Exactly the same way I structure my meals in the Daily Meal Plan series.

Today’s Lunchbox: Mixed greens whole wheat salad wrap (mixed greens, cucumbers, tomatoes, avocado, chickpeas, cheddar cheese, onion and carrots with balsamic vinaigrette) with grapes

  1. This looks delicious! What kinds of wraps do you use? I struggle to find ones that will hold all my veggie fillings! 🙂
