A Morning at The Office

0 · Jun 14, 2012 · 10 Comments

I woke up feeling a little under the weather so instead of jumping up right away to make breakfast like I usually do, I decided to laze around a bit watching reruns of The Office.

I forgot how funny that show used to be. Β It definitely is nowhere near what it was in it’s first several seasons.

When I finally felt a little better, I got up and decided on an easy bowl of yogurt.

Truth be told I kinda wanted waffles but I had none in the freezer and was too lazy to make them from scratch.

This was a delicious alternative though.

Into the bowl went the usual:

  • 1/2 cup 0% plain Chobani
  • 1 tbsp. chia seeds
  • Sliced strawberries
  • Cville Cluster granola
  • Trader Joe’s Sunflower Seed Butter

It really never ceases to amaze me how delicious the simplest of things can be.

Coffee on the side:

With frothy soymilk!

A nice little breakfast.

I’m taking a bit of a study break for the morning and then it’s time to delve back in.

Can’t wait for this test to be in my rearview mirror!

Your rearview mirror – that phrase just made my morning! I had a prof in law school that would start every class by doing a quick review of the last class and he would always say, “as we look in our rearview mirror and see…” He was the most confusing teacher ever and he always had the most esoteric analogies but the “rearview mirror analogy was about the only one I ever understood – all of the others were way over my head! He was way too smart for me!

Keep up the good work studying! It will all be over soon! πŸ™‚

It’s pretty darn good granola! And agreed – it’s the only way to keep absorbing things (at least that’s what I tell myself) πŸ™‚

I have to say I loved the office but not loving the new seasons. Sad.
