The Vanishing Hours

Where do the mornings go!?

I swear I have my act somewhat together, but by the time I prepare breakfast, take pictures, edit the pictures, do the dishes, put the dry dishes away and finally sit down to blog, it’s nearly 10!

Gone are the days where I was able to get up, workout, shower, get dressed, eat breakfast, blog and get to work by 8:30 in the morning!

Anyway, despite that, my breakfast was pretty dang good.

LoveGrown Simply Oats Granola!

Your nose is just assaulted with cinnamon flavor the moment you open the bag. Β It’s SO good.

Put on top of any breakfast and you immediately feel like you’re eating some decadent cobbler. Β Definitely one of my favorite LoveGrown flavors so far.

Into the bowl went:

  • 1/3 cup Trader Joe’s Rolled Oats
  • 1 cup of water
  • 1 tbsp. chia seeds
  • 1 diced peach

Stirred up, cooked and then topped with a heaping spoonful of Trader Joe’s Sunflower Seed Butter and LoveGrown Simply Oats.

It’s hard to beat perfectly melted nut butter.

And heaping spoonfuls of chia-seed thick oatmeal with fresh fruit and granola.

Coffee on the side:

Love Grown never gets old! I’m partially to Sweet Cranberry Pecan, though! πŸ™‚

I’ve never thought to top my overnight oats with granola just because there are oats in the bowl already. I think I have to try this! Extra flavor and crunch!

I love your breakfast posts πŸ™‚ they always look so delicious! And the portions seem big all the time too o_o maybe thats just the way it was photographed? Do you ever eat oatmeal without toppings?

Thanks! πŸ™‚ They definitely are delicious. I’m not sure if they look big just because of the way they’re photographed or not, but I usually list out the general measurements in the post so that might help πŸ™‚ As for oatmeal, I don’t usually eat it without toppings unless in a pinch!
