The importance of movement with regards to overall health has been shown over and over again in study after study. I personally feel any movement you choose to do should be something you actually enjoy doing. If you loathe running – don’t run! There’s plenty of other ways you can get cardio (including cleaning the house, doing an active job or with just a simple walk!). With all the extreme exercise plans out there I know a walk may feel ‘inadequate,’ but research has really shown that any type of movement is beneficial.
