I believe being active (at least 30 minutes most days of the week) is just as important for our overall health as a well-balanced diet. While I’m not a fitness professional, I personally feel any activity you choose to do should be something you actually like – that’s the best way to ensure you’ll keep coming back to it day after day! If you loathe running – don’t run! There’s plenty of other ways you can get cardio (including just a simple walk!). With all the extreme exercise plans out there I know a walk may feel ‘inadequate,’ but if it gets your legs moving and your heart pumping, there’s absolutely nothing wrong with it! The important part is to get up and move your body around each and every day – and most importantly, to enjoy it!
