THROWN BACK

0 · Dec 6, 2012 · 7 Comments

mornings are my absolute favorite time of day…my only complaint about them is that they often go by far too quickly!

I don’t know what happened or even what I did between now and when I last left you…there was some laundry folded…and a Gilmore Girls episode was watched…oh and I participated in my very first “throw back thursday” which was pretty fun.

check out this gem:

I mean.  That is just some good stuff right there.  My parents must’ve been so proud…I’m just exuding coolness in that photo.

Other than that, I drank my coffee far too quickly (which is often the case) and quickly scrambled to make myself some tea so I could be holding something warm in my hands.

But other than that, I got nothin’ for ya.

My appetite is being kinda wonky for some reason and we’re kinda low on groceries so lunch was pretty simple.  Lack of inspiration and appetite usually means I end up eating lots of smaller meals throughout the day (I’m sure I’ll be snacking again in an hour or so) –

I toasted up 2 slices of 100% whole wheat bread, slathered it with hummus and topped them with mixed greens

I ultimately just folded them together and ate it like a sandwich…it surprisingly completely hit the spot!

On the side I had two tangerines…

It wasn’t much – but sometimes my stomach just can’t handle huge meals and I need to space it out a little more throughout the day.

For what my stomach was looking for, this hit the spot!

I’m going to try to get a quick workout in before that inevitable hunger hits though so I’m off to school!

I’ll be honest when I drink my coffee too quickly, it just becomes an excuse to get another cup… 😉

Gotta listen to your bod and give it what it wants/needs! Sometimes I just want smaller meals too. Sometimes bigger. Our bodies have a mind of their own 🙂

Exactly! As long as you’re listening to it, that’s what’s important 🙂

Ohmygosh, how did I MISS that picture? Pricesless. We would have been best friends then, too. I rocked that same side pony tail.
