Custom Made

We’re still a little low on groceries so we went out for (what we hope to be!) our last meal out for a while!

We both wanted salads and contemplated picking up some pre-made ones at the grocery store but ultimately decided custom made Crisp salads would be better.

So we left sleeping beauty on the couch….

And headed out!

Chad got the barbecued chicken salad:

And I made my own:

Filled with:

  • Spring mix
  • Walnuts
  • Cranberries
  • Egg
  • Avocado
  • Cucumbers
  • Carrots

Topped with balsamic vinaigrette.

It was delicious and FILLING.

I didn’t even have room for the toast they serve alongside:

I’m making progress on my list of to-do’s.  Hopefully I can finish before the day comes to an end!

I’ve been ignoring some aspects of my TODO list…cleaning my room just doesn’t sound like fun. HA!
