Beats Store-Bought

Breakfast held me over well!

When I finally got hungry, I whipped up a quick and easy lunch –

Turkey, hummus and avocado on homemade honey whole wheat bread –

I subbed in some quinoa flour into the recipe to up the protein of the bread and I was really pleased with the texture and taste of it.

Homemade bread really does beat store-bought.  There’s just no if’s, and’s or but’s about it.

On the side I had some baby carrots…

And an orange…

A delicious meal to help me get my study brain on –

I have class tonight but I’m hoping to get a little yoga in beforehand!

I love homemade bread!! I dated a guy in college whose mom used to send him homemade bread. I swear that relationship lasted way longer than it should have simply for the bread! haha!
