Cherishing Cherries

0 · Jun 28, 2012 · 24 Comments

Do cherries just scream summertime or what?

DSC 0012

I’ll tell you: they do.

It was a summertime lunch all around!

Complete with a little beachΒ

Love this blue mason jar.

The big hitter for lunch was a turkey sandwich –

It might look ordinary but it was good.

I piled two slices of 100% whole wheat bread with turkey, avocado, hummus and lettuce.

CherriesΒ on the side –

And the very last of my bag of baby carrots –

A well-rounded lunch plate!

Watching and leaning about the newly passed Obama Care. Β Not sure what I think about it quite yet…

I just bought the best cherries yet last weekend at a random side fruit stand. They rocked my summer!

Why do your cherries look so much lighter in color than mine?? Just curious! πŸ™‚ I absolutely love cherries. They are definitely one of my favorite fruits! πŸ™‚

This is a mix of rainier and red cherries – the lighter ones are the rainier πŸ™‚ They’re delicious! You can read about them here.

Welp don’t base your thoughts on “Obamacare” on a response by his opponent, that’s for sure! It’s a great program, and of course Romney glosses over any good points because he’s in an election and his party’s line is “there’s too much government interference in mah life!!!” Our healthcare industry is a sham, it bankrupts people while simultaneously denying them coverage for illnesses that are curable. They need to be regulated and they need to become more competitive with each other. We’ll never have universal healthcare because we’ve dug ourselves too deep and given the healthcare industry all the power, so this is just a small step in a better direction. SORRY I HAVE FEELINGS ABOUT THIS.

PS love you! Are you EVER coming back to CT?

Haha – I can see that! I need to know more about it before I can figure it out, but definitely don’t plan to just listen to one side before deciding. PROMISE πŸ™‚

PS – Love you too! Yours and Michelley’s MK and A post literally had me rolling on the floor laughing. I was impressed with Michelle’s effort – if she did that from memory without looking anything up she has more of a steel trap for useless information than I ever thought she did! And yes! Hopefully! I will let you know next time I’m around πŸ™‚

im currently suffering from a severe Eating disorder (for 10 years now) and i live in nys. I have no insurance and my experience with healthcare has been awful. Obamacare sounds good but in reality would only cause our country and its foundation to crumble. i encourage anyone who thinks its a good idea to read up on it. its awful. and this is coming from someone who is in desperate need for insurance.

anywho, on a different note….lol i love all your blog and look foward to reading it everyday:-)

I’m so so sorry to hear you’re suffering – I hope that you’re able to get to a happy and healthy place where you feel good and strong.

And thank you so much for sharing your view on ObamaCare – I think it’s always good to know both sides of issues such as these. I definitely intend to read up on it more so that I can get a better understanding.

Finally, I’m SO glad you like the blog and that it can be something you look forward to every day! You have no idea how much that means to me to hear!
