CLOUDY SKIES

0 · Jul 12, 2012 · 19 Comments

This rainy weather is wearing on me!

It’s so depressing to wake up to cloudy skies every day! I won’t complain those because I know it’s needed.

Easy lunch today – just leftover baked mac and cheese and a side salad.

This definitely gets better with time.

Hoping the clouds make their way out of here soon!!

You’ve inspired me again! We are road tripping from Ont, Canada to Chicago for a ball game, Navy Pier etc. Sorry – not related at all to this post, but one of your June posts! Are there any other cool touristy things we should see/do that you really enjoyed?

Haha that’s okay! So glad you got in some good Chicago things! I would say it sounds like you covered a good amount – one other thing we really wanted to do was kayak on the river!

I had leftovers today, too! Imagine that.

And seriously, you should just come out here to sunny-town-colorado. We’ve been in the blow-up-backyard-pool allllll day.

Random fact about me: I don’t like homemade mac and cheese. I know! But I love the fake KRAFT kind with the powdered cheese. I am so ashamed! ha! 🙂

I’ve been feeling that way in CO too. I wanted the rain because I knew it was good, but I couldn’t help but feel a little bummed. 🙂 That mac n cheese looks wonderful. Perfect leftovers.

I was just thinking that too about the weather! Then the sky opened up and poured. I was so torn because we needed the rain, but I would like to see a little sun.

I love the pics in this post! I’ll cross my fingers that possibly all of your cloudy, bad weather will result in a rainbow at some point!

Hey Cait! I recently found your blog and am so excited I did. I love all of your posts and have spent the past few days catching up on some of your old ones. I came across this post and finally had to ask you where you got your bowls from that are in these photos! I absolutely love the shape of them and just had to ask. Thanks for sharing so many great meal ideas. I have gotten so much new inspiration from your posts! 🙂
