relaxed

I took the advice of all you wise people and made sure to just relax and enjoy today

I spent the majority of the morning sipping coffee and watching Christmas movies.  Not too bad if I do say so myself…and SO needed!

Lunch was a vegetarian sub from Which Wich –

I went with the tomato/avocado sandwich base and added all kinds of veggies, american cheese and a little oil and vinegar on a wheat sub.

It held me over well throughout the afternoon and even powered me through a workout!

It was rainy and gloomy so I figured what better day to head over to school and use the gym?

Plus my long walk yesterday definitely had my leg/back not feeling so great so I figured something low-impact would be a good idea.

It was crazy how empty campus was…I kind of loved it!  I basically had the entire second floor and the whole weight room of the gym to myself.

I did a little over 4 miles and then headed to the weight room to do my back exercises…hopefully that helps quell the leg numbness a little!

I got home, showered, grabbed a pear + some crunchy peanut butter and then got sucked into Pinterest for a little while watching The Santa Clause…can’t help myself.  I just love Christmas.

Dinner was completely roasted in the oven!

I threw some popcorn shrimp, some Alexia sweet potato waffle fries and broccoli on a sheet pan and popped it all in the oven for around 25 minutes.

Perfection.

With that, I’m off again to kick up my feet – until tomorrow everyone!

Oh and ps – can we just talk about this?  best.  breakfast.  ever.

Glad you’re taking a break. School is out for me, but I’m still working, so it’s been hard to relax because I still feel like I have so much to do. I am trying to force myself to relax so I’m ready when school starts again in January!

Haha I know – I keep thinking of all these things I should be doing but I have to keep talking myself out of it because I feel like I need to be rested to tackle another semester!
