{spotlight on}: luna’s living kitchen, charlotte nc

1 · Jul 16, 2014 · 6 Comments

I thought it would be fun to start sharing some of my favorite places with you all. I know when I’m going on a trip I love to research some of the favorite local spots to try out while there so if you ever find yourself in Charlotte, NC – I highly recommend Luna’s Living Kitchen in the South End.

Everything at Luna’s – from the atmosphere to the food – is just incredible.

They recently moved across the street from a smaller area to the place they’re in now and they did a fabulous job with it. They absolutely nailed their look, in my opinion.

Luna’s serves up organic, plant-based meals, smoothies and cold-pressed juices (they even offer juice cleanses for those of you that are so inclined).

We tried the Fire & Brimstone burger and the Mock Tuna Salad sandwich, both of which we really loved. Even the side salads were incredible.

We also split the Gateway to Green juice and the Colombian Style Lemonade sweetened with lightly raw agave which we really enjoyed.

Overall, definitely a place worth checking out. They serve breakfast too!

Thank you! I tried really hard to capture how great the inside was but it’s still 1000x better than even these photos show!

It really is SO delicious – and their vibe is amazing. I feel like I did such a poor job of capturing just how great it is!
