sharing the outfits I’m loving most this month
I’ve always loved a really good outfit. There’s just something about the art of the process that brings me joy. For a long time, when I was stuck in diet culture, I lost that joy. I felt like my body had to look a certain way in order to deserve to dress it (spoiler alert: it never looked the way I thought it ‘should’). A big part of my recovery from this distorted way of thinking was learning that every body can and should rock any outfit it wants.
It took a lot of learning and understanding that bodies change throughout different life stages, that there is no ‘right’ way to have a body and that body diversity is something to be celebrated, not criticized (as diet culture makes us believe).
Bodies don’t have to earn the right to wear certain things – if you have a body, go ahead and dress it in whatever calls to you. Dressing not to cover up ‘imperfect’ parts, but dressing in a way that feels good and expresses what brings you joy.

button down shirt // cardigan // jeans // trench coat // mules // sunglasses
Love this classic button down shirt – it goes with so much and is super comfortable. It’s lightweight enough to be a layer but can also hold up to be worn on it’s own.
sweater // jeans // mules // sunglasses // tote (sold out, similar)
Love these jeans. They’re comfortable and flexible but can easily pass as work wear.
sweater (sold out in black but available in other colors) // jacket // sunglasses // pants // shoes
sweater // trench coat // jeans // booties (old, similar)
Another trench! And the most comfortable jeans.
sweater (sold out in white but other colors available) // pants // trench coat // shoes // tote (sold out, similar)
Obsessed with these pants. They’re so comfortable and easy to dress up or down.
sweatshirt // leggings (sold out, similar) // sneakers // hat
tee // cardigan // jeans // mules
I’m a sucker for a cozy cardigan and this one is no exception. Paired with boyfriend jeans, my favorite tee of the moment and some cozy slip on mules, this outfit was easy and comfy.
shirt // trench coat // jeans // shoes
It’s not spring yet, but our weather has felt so spring-like all winter that a trench coat felt appropriate! This one has a little more weight to it and I love it because I can dress it up or down.
Love both these shoes and these pants for a comfy wear to work outfit.
sweatshirt // tee (obsessed) // pants // moccassins
This outfit felt like being wrapped in a cozy hug. This fleece sweatshirt is SO soft on the inside, the tee is my new favorite for comfy tees and you can’t really go wrong with sweater pants, am I right? And of course, my trusty L.L.Bean moccasins that I’ve had for years. It was perfect outfit when I was feeling so crappy with this cold!

hat // sunglasses // sweater // jeans // scarf (sold out, similar linked) // booties (sold out, similar linked)
sweater coat // hoodie // joggers // shoes // sunglasses

hat // zip-up hoodie // sweater coat // leggings
Living in the south, the winters don’t get cold enough for long enough to justify a wool coat so I found this thick sweater coat and it does the trick perfectly!
I’ve been living in these sweaters. I got one in black and white – they’re a nice thick fabric, long enough to wear with leggings but also love the way they look with jeans (see below)
I’ve been looking for a pair of pants like this FOREVER and finally found these ones that I absolutely love.
