This is what my sister has to deal with every morning while she eats breakfast:
Clara doesn’t see anything wrong with this.
In fact, I think she believes it’s the way things should be. Cause really, it’s Clara’s world and we’re just living in it.
While Shannon dealt with her handful, I got to work on my breakfast. I wasn’t sure what I wanted (well, that’s kind of a lie, what I wanted was the exact same thing I had yesterday…but I had no more yogurt so that wasn’t a feasible option) so I kind of just threw things in a bowl as I went.
It actually came out pretty darn good in the end!

haha I say the same about my dogs..they really dominate my household you would think it would be the other way around! those oats look delicious!
have a great weekend!
Haha I know it’s so funny how that happens right?! And thanks, you too!
The strawberries are SO great right now! Love the coconut combo. Quick question, though, whenever I try to make oats in the microwave they always boil over! Any tips?!
I’ve been there before! When I use instant oats or quick cooking with fruit the microwave is great but otherwise I need to use the stovetop because the fruit in the oatmeal tends to cause a boil over with the old fashion oats’ longer microwave time 🙂
I have done the old fashion oats in one minute increments in the microwave before and it has worked ok – it’s just a pain. Good luck!
Cute mug! 🙂
Thanks! 🙂
Sooo I take it you won’t be home this weekend? Boo
I won’t 🙁 I’m sorry – we’re running a race. But have so much fun! I’ll miss being there!!
DD isn’t til 5/5–there’s still hope!
Aha! Ok good!! There’s a chance I WILL be home that weekend!!
Cait, i’ve never tried sunflower seed butter! i’m tempted to try it soon though. the strawberry + coconut combination sounds amazing. some of my favorite recipes are things i just throw together last minute!
You definitely should try sunflower butter! I absolutely love it! And I agree – that’s where some of my most favorite meals come from as well!
Ok, I seriously want Clara!! She is too cute!!
What kind of dog is she?
Haha I know! She’s so darn cute! She’s a teacup chihuahua 🙂
this post made my day.
Haha aw yay! 🙂
This looks so delicious! Yum 🙂
It sure was! 🙂
Clara is just too cute! She can stare at my food anytime! 😀 LOL!
Haha – I’ll let my sister know! You’re both named Shannon so maybe she won’t notice the difference 🙂
I neeeeed this dog. SO cute!!
Haha! She’s pretty stinkin’ cute, that’s for sure!
Aww! She reminds me of one of my little muffins! They’re both exactly the same shape! Too cute! 😀
🙂 Gotta love the little guys!
That dog is just so squeezable… what a face! 🙂
Haha I know – she kills me!
This post touched me. I love it.
So glad! 🙂
Coconut makes breakfast exciting! I’m on an early morning quinoa kick: almond milk, coconut, spoonful of peanut butter, dab of honey and dried fruit. So good!
YUM! That sounds delicious! I think I’m going to have to try that out for myself!
