This is what my sister has to deal with every morning while she eats breakfast:
Clara doesn’t see anything wrong with this.
In fact, I think she believes it’s the way things should be. Cause really, it’s Clara’s world and we’re just living in it.
While Shannon dealt with her handful, I got to work on my breakfast. I wasn’t sure what I wanted (well, that’s kind of a lie, what I wanted was the exact same thing I had yesterday…but I had no more yogurt so that wasn’t a feasible option) so I kind of just threw things in a bowl as I went.
It actually came out pretty darn good in the end!

Haha I know it’s so funny how that happens right?! And thanks, you too!

The strawberries are SO great right now! Love the coconut combo. Quick question, though, whenever I try to make oats in the microwave they always boil over! Any tips?!
Cait says
I’ve been there before! When I use instant oats or quick cooking with fruit the microwave is great but otherwise I need to use the stovetop because the fruit in the oatmeal tends to cause a boil over with the old fashion oats’ longer microwave time 🙂
I have done the old fashion oats in one minute increments in the microwave before and it has worked ok – it’s just a pain. Good luck!

You definitely should try sunflower butter! I absolutely love it! And I agree – that’s where some of my most favorite meals come from as well!

Coconut makes breakfast exciting! I’m on an early morning quinoa kick: almond milk, coconut, spoonful of peanut butter, dab of honey and dried fruit. So good!
Cait says
YUM! That sounds delicious! I think I’m going to have to try that out for myself!
