scenes: from new york city

0 · Jun 26, 2013 · 15 Comments

Those of you that follow me on Instagram or read the end of my last post know that we made a super quick trip to New York City on Monday.  Despite it being quick, it was super fun and packed with a lot of great stuff.

I finally got over to Chobani SoHo and what a treat that was.  If you’re ever in the city, you have to check it out – it tasted like the best Greek yogurt I’d ever had!

We also got to be on the field for the Yankee’s batting practice, meet Joe Girardi as well as enjoy the game from the owner’s box (complete with an amazing dessert spread – pictured below).

Other than that there was family time, some shopping and A LOT of walking – just the way I like it!

Until next time New York…

I’ll happily be back in the kitchen now, preparing my own meals and getting some good food and nutrition content up here for you all!

I’ve never need to New York City, but it’s definitely a trip I would like to make soon (because it feels like it would be easier than flying halfway around the world lol). But you’re right, always nice to be home and in your own space!!

Oh you have to go sometime – it’s definitely a place I take for granted having grown up in CT and then living and working there but I think for people that have never been it’s a place worth checking out…there’s nowhere else quite like it!

I also find it a great place to live especially in Bklyn or Queens.

I didn’t even know you lived there! You’ve lived in like every major city! Haha. After SD you’ll have to try your hand at Chicago (unless you’ve already done it).
