The last time I was traveling I grabbed my usual Starbucks Perfect Oatmeal cup and declared that it was SO good, that I had to start making it at home.
Well today, was that day.
I gathered up my ingredients and made it happen!
Starbucks Perfect Oatmeal at Home
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1 cup water
- Mixed nuts
- 1 tbsp. brown sugar
- Mixed dried fruit (I used cranberries, golden raisins and cherries)
Directions:
- Combine water and oats. Microwave on HIGH for 2 minutes
- Add desired toppings
- Stir
- Enjoy!
Delicious and super simple.
Can’t beat that!

I love Sbux oatmeal and your’s looks even better because you can eat it out of a real bowl, not a cardboard container!
Cait says
Haha exactly! The real bowl actually makes a big difference 🙂

It’s funny cause it truly is so simple but I just never thought to make it at home. It probably takes about the same amount of time. Great thinking, Cait! 🙂

Thanks Kristen! 🙂
