STRAWBERRY-LIME SELTZER

strawberry-lime seltzer: a perfectly refreshing drink for these hot summer days // cait's plate

It’s been close to 100 degrees here in North Carolina for the past week which means when I’m not busy melting into a puddle, I’m chugging water like it’s my job.

My latest obsession has been making my own fruit-sweetened water.  From cucumbers to limes to lemons and strawberries I’ve been throwing all kinds of concoctions together.

It’s pretty hard to go wrong when combining fruits to flavor waters, but this was by far one of my most favorite.  I can’t speak to how long it would last because it was gone in about a day and a half in our house…

So if you’re melting in this heat wave like we are, I HIGHLY recommend going out, buying some plain seltzer and a pair of your favorite fruits and throw them together.  You won’t regret it, I promise!

I’m sure this can be done with raspberries too and not just strawberries.

Haha you’re right! Any kind of fruit would work! I guess that’s what my brain was thinking when I made the banner 😉
