easy and wholesome ideas to incorporate Annie's New Organic Whole Milk Yogurts into your day! // cait's plate

This post is sponsored by Annie’s.

I’m excited to have partnered up with Annie’s today to help spread the word about their New Organic Whole Milk Yogurt. I love Annie’s as brand because they provide products that make it easy to get good food on the table without a lot of fuss, providing exhausted parents (and tired adults!) a small relief from the many other decisions they face everyday. And those of you that know me, know that I absolutely love yogurt. It provides protein, fat and is the perfect vehicle for nourishing fruits, vegetables and whole grains. So you can imagine I was more than happy to help announce the launch of their New Organic Whole Milk Yogurt and share a few ideas for different ways to fit yogurt into the day.

As many of you I’m sure already know, I will opt for yogurt and fruit covered waffles over just about any other choice out there. I love the balanced blend of ripe berries in the Berry Patch flavor – the lightly sweet/tart flavor of the whole milk yogurt pairs perfectly with hearty whole grain waffles.

At breakfast, try topping two whole grain waffles with a generous spoonful or two of Annie’s Organic Whole Milk Yogurt in Berry Patch flavor, add a handful more of fresh (or frozen!) mixed berries and you’ve got yourself a delicious, satisfying morning meal.

My nieces absolutely love anything and everything Annie’s and my sister loves what an easy addition the new Annie’s Organic Whole Milk Yogurt is to their lunch boxes! It’s also a simple way for her to give them a nourishing morning snack or part of a quick breakfast on the go. Whole milk provides children a source of calories from fat, and is important for both growth and brain development in children under 2 years of age.

At lunch, try topping Annie’s Organic Whole Milk Yogurt in Summer Strawberry flavor with some fresh sliced strawberries and pairing it with a sandwich on whole wheat and some fresh carrot slices for you or your little ones. This offers a balanced meal that’s not only wholesome but also delicious. A little tip? Let the kids make fun faces in the yogurt using their berries – they’ll have a blast!

I obviously love keeping Annie’s Organic Whole Milk Yogurt around my house for whenever my nieces visit, but I also love to dip into the stash myself when I’m craving a treat! That’s probably one of my favorite things about it, it’s something the whole family can get on board with. It comes in three flavors: Berry Patch, Summer Strawberry, and Very Vanilla so there’s bound to be something for everyone.

I like to use the creamy, rich Very Vanilla flavor to make a parfait with Annie’s Oatmeal Raisin Cookies – it feels so decadent and satisfying, making it the perfect dessert. My nieces love to get in on the parfait action as well – it’s a fun way for them to be involved in the kitchen and they feel so proud to know they made their own dessert!

When it comes to yogurt, the possibilities are truly endless, making it easy and fun to get your kids involved in the kitchen. Try setting up a yogurt bar with different goodies for kids to add into their bowls or whip up some berry smoothies for a refreshing breakfast or after school snack.
