A Day

Oh, hello there.

IMG 6127

It has been a DAY.

Around lunchtime I ran over to my favorite store in the whole world: Trader Joe’s and grabbed two of my go-to items for easy meals:

Healthy and filling without having to lift a finger!

They’re a little heavy on the rice for what I’m used to or what I like, but in a pinch they do a great job.

These were a new try – I’ve had the veggie spring rolls before but never the shrimp spring rolls:

They were pretty darn tasty!

After lunch Madeleine went to nap and Julia and I spent the afternoon coloring:

And then we ventured out!

Followed by a quick and easy dinner prepared by my loving brother-in-law:

My sister Shannon gets in tonight so I’m off to the airport to pick her up!

HAPPY FRIDAY EVERYONE!!

Yes, those spring rolls look great! I have never seen them at TJs…are they with the prepared foods section? Mind sharing any nutrition facts on them if you know?

Also, I know you know this, but your nieces are SO CUTE. I love seeing all your pictures with them and have had such a blast following your time with them!

Yup! Right next to the sushi. As for nutrition facts: Trader Joe’S Shrimp Spring Rolls (2) (1 serving) calories: 330, fat: 13g, carbs: 43g, protein: 10g

And thank you!! I love that other people find them as cute as I do 🙂

looks like a very fun girls’ day out.

that sushi roll reminds me of the sushi we had on campus during college. we only went for the vegetable or california rolls. and honestly, they were pretty bad. but it was the first sushi i ever tried, and they still hold a special place in my heart. :p so good, i had them for breakfast more than a time or two when i was in school.

I’m always tempted to get TJ’s sushi, but it’s the raw fish that I love and they only have cooked rolls. Have a great weekend!!

I know – I’m just the opposite of you! I love only the cooked and non-raw sushi! Haha. Thanks Allie, you too 🙂

I am absolutely LOVING these posts with the girls! They always brighten my mornings 🙂

And I couldn’t help but get all giddy inside when I saw her creeping in on the Sunbutter a few days back 😉
