I hope you all enjoyed the day!
We started out early with some coffee and freshly baked doughnutsย on our way out of Vermont.
Truth be told the doughnuts were actually Chad’s but they looked too good not to photo ๐
My breakfast looked a little something more like this:
Chobani + trail mix.
We drove into Boston because Chad was flying out from there and I planned to stay behind for a couple of days to visit with my nieces!
I grabbed a quick veggie avocado sub on 9-grain bread at Subway and ate it alongside an apple –
And then it was pool time!
Then ate dinner and hung out!
Just as good as last year ๐
The kids are now in bed andย my sister, brother-in-law and myself are watching Girls. ย Missing this boy!

I love how you make the simplest food look delicious and enjoyable! Your eldest niece sure resembles your mum!

Thank you! I definitely maintain that sometimes simple is best ๐ And I agree – I can absolutely see the resemblance!

Oh that doughnut looks amazing. I love doughnuts, but limit myself to 2 per year (1 in in fall at the local farm show…homemade potato, and 1 in the summer at Krispy Kreme..lol).
Enjoy the rest of your trip!

That’s pretty much exactly when I have doughnuts! You can’t beat the warm apple cider doughnuts when apple picking in the fall! ๐

Sorry…Chad’s breakfast wins. ๐
Cait says
Ahahah – I agree! If I could eat like that and not keel over on the floor 20 minutes afterwards I’d totally do it ๐

Oh my word, they’re getting so biiiiig!! How did that happen?!?! Love you all.

I know right!? I can’t believe how big they are – Julia is starting Kindergarten this Fall! Nutso! Love you right back friend!
