I absolutely cannot believe that the 4th of July is already around the corner! I feel like this summer is flying by so quickly which makes me so sad (and then I think about how much I love Fall and I feel a little bit better again).
Anyway, I hope you all have fun plans for the holiday! I’m not sure what we’re doing quite yet, but hopefully it will involve relaxing (and eating lots of bomb pops!).
As those of you that have followed me for a while now know, I’m SO into holidays. I have mugs, pajamas and outfits for just about every holiday there is. And now that I’m pregnant, I’m pretty sure that’s only going to intensive ten fold 🙂 I’ve already been shopping around for family Christmas pajamas! So since this 4th of July is (somehow!) already upon us, I’ve pulled together two fun maternity-friendly looks for it.

I bought this cute peplum tank top way back in the fall (I’m a sucker for anything blue and white striped…Chad laughs every time we go to the store together because the stuff I bring him is always blue and white striped) thinking it would be perfect for this time of year. Little did I know I was going to need all that room in the tank top for an ever-expanding belly!
Luckily it still fits my bump pretty well. It was wide/long to begin with (not in a bad way!) which means I was still able to fit into it comfortably. And speaking of fitting into things comfortably, I’ve been wearing this non-maternity boyfriend shorts without any issues. I’m hoping that keeps up through the summer because I’d really like to bypass having to buy maternity shorts!
This cardigan is so light (and on sale right now!!) which makes it perfect for summer. I haven’t had this issue as much living in the south, but in the northeast the summer nights could definitely cool down quick, so having something light enough that you can wear it during the day but really have it for night is perfect. It’s definitely going to be a staple for me this season! It’s also non-maternity and I’m wearing my usual size in it! Love when I can get a head-to-toe maternity look with all non-maternity clothes!

Even Ollie got in on the 4th of July fun! (As a side note, I swear he’s a happier puppy than these pictures make him out to be 
). I saw this tank top at Target the other day and couldn’t resist picking it up for the 4th! I have an abundance of red accessories so it’s always easier for me to find blue and white clothing options for red, white and blue holidays. This is a maternity tank, but can easily be worn in a size down as a baby doll-style top. These pictures don’t do the best job of showcasing it, but it has some really cute detailing on it.
