weekly eats & workouts: 9/24-9/27

a round up of my weekly eats & workouts!

It’s the time again!  Somehow another week is already behind us, so without further ado, here is what I ate and the workouts I did!

MONDAY

Breakfast: few bites of an apple cider doughnut followed by raisin walnut oatmeal and coffee (recipe here)

Lunch: Hummus & veggie sandwich on whole wheat with a pear and a seltzer

Snack: Trader Joe’s rainbow’s end trail mix

Dinner: Aidell’s chicken meatballs over whole wheat pasta with spiralized zucchini, parmesan & a glass of red wine

Workout: 3 mile run + 1 mile walk with Ollie & Owen

 

TUESDAY

Breakfast: Barbara’s Morning Oat Crunch with coffee & an apple

Snack: Trader Joe’s rainbow’s end trail mix

Lunch: Grilled cheese on whole wheat with carrots, cucumbers, hummus & an orange

Snack: BelVita peanut butter sandwich

Dinner: Trader Joe’s spinach tortellini with kale pesto and freshly shaved parmesan

Snack: siggi’s raspberry with chocolate chips

Workout: BBG Beginner Legs + 1 mile walk with Ollie & Owen

 

WEDNESDAY

Breakfast: PB&J chia seed oats (recipe here) with an apple and unpictured coffee

Lunch: 15-minute pesto quinoa with riced broccoli and chickpea walnut mash (recipe here)

Snack: Trader Joe’s multigrain o’s with soymilk

Dinner: Mellow Mushroom: 2 slices of Kosmic Karma pizza and a side salad

Workout: 1 mile walk with Ollie & Owen

 

THURSDAY

Breakfast: 2 van’s 8 grain waffles topped with pb, plain siggi’s yogurt, diced apple, cinnamon and a drizzle of maple syrup plus coffee

Snack: Trader Joe’s apple strawberry bar

Lunch: Turkey, cheese & hummus on whole wheat with spinach, onion, tomato plus carrots & an orange

Snack: BelVita peanut butter sandwich

Dinner: 2 slices of Kosmic Karma pizza & an unpictured side salad

Workout: 3 mile run + 1 mile walk with Ollie & Owen

 

FRIDAY

Breakfast: Plain siggi’s yogurt topped with diced apples, pb & Michele’s pumpkin spice granola plus coffee

Lunch: Amy’s low sodium lentil vegetable soup with triscuits, a cheese stick and an orange

Dinner: Black bean, Cheese & Pepper Quesadilla with plain siggi’s, salsa and unpictured blue corn chips

Snack: Unpictured chocolate chip clif bar

Workout: BBG Beginner Abs & Arms + 1 mile walk with Ollie & Owen

 

SATURDAY

Breakfast: Whole wheat apple cider pancakes with yogurt, diced apple and maple syrup plus coffee

Snack: Trader Joe’s rainbow’s end trail mix

Lunch: Turkey, hummus & cheese on whole wheat with spinach, onion and tomato plus a carrot & an orange

Dinner: Hawthorne’s chicken parm with a side salad and a slice of garlic bread

Workout: 4 mile run + 1 mile walk with Ollie & Owen

 

SUNDAY

Breakfast: Egg & cheese sandwich on whole wheat bread with an orange

Lunch: Turkey, hummus & cheese on whole wheat plus a carrot & an apple

Snack: Apple Pie Larabar

Dinner: Smashburger turkey burger with cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion & pickle on wheat with a side salad

Workout: 1 mile walk with the fam bam
