Breakfast this morning was very fruitfullย
I had one belgian waffle leftover from a stack that I made this weekend using Bob’s Red Mill Whole Grain Buttermilk Pancake & Waffle Mix …and what’s a waffle without it’s mate?
Rather than let this little guy go to waste, I decided to load him up with some sunflower seed butter, yogurt + chia seeds and lots and lots of fruit!
Best decision ever?
Quite possibly.
Because we all know, in a world riddled with decisions, piling a lot of fruit on a waffle is certainly one of the bestย
Onto the waffle went:
- Trader Joe’s Greek-Style Yogurt + 1 tbsp. chia seeds (<— the key to non-running yogurt!)
- Trader Joe’s Sunflower Seed Butter
- One diced peach (so drippy and juicy and perfect)
- Strawberry slices
- A small handful of cherries
- Cville Cluster Granola
On the side a piping hot mug of coffee – the best way to start a day!
And just like that, my favorite meal of the day comes to an end!
