Better Together

I think Clara has found a new love…

I’m chopped liver when Chad gets home from work.

But it’s okay, cause I think they’re kind of adorable together

While Clara spent time with her new love, I spent time with an old one:

This was one of my all-time favorite breakfasts last summer – strawberries and peaches with yogurt and Cville Cluster!

If I’m being honest, it’s these little guys that make it so good:

I know you guys are probably sick of hearing my gushing about this granola, but I can’t help it.  It truly is the best granola I’ve ever had.

Another thing I love?  The peach/strawberry flavor combo.  It’s definitely one of my favorite fruit combinations…possibly because I don’t really like bananas.

So good.

Made only better with a piping hot mug of coffee + soymilk:

Time to get this day started!

    They are pretty adorable together!

Your breakfast looks so beautiful and healthy! I love the combination of fruit, yogurt, & chia seeds. Sometimes I find myself scarfing down food. I need to work on taking the time and appreciating the beauty of food.

Definitely! It’s easy to get caught up in the rush of life – I try my best to make every meal an occasion and really enjoy it 🙂

YUM! Your breakfasts are always so pretty. And then they remind me daily that I need to get my hands on some chia seeds. Can you believe I’ve never tried them?!

And now I’ll be singing Jack Johnson for the rest of the day after seeing this post title. Not a bad thing at all considering it was our wedding song 🙂

That looks so delish and perfectly summer! Where do you buy the granola? I tried searching for it but haven’t had any luck!

Unfortunately it’s only sold at a bakery in Charlottesville, VA! Kath (who owns the bakery with her husband) sometimes sells it through her shop at OpenSky though so if you follow her on there you can take advantage of potential future sale of it!

That granola gets me everytime. I have to find some of that! By the way, I wanted to tell you that I also am starting on the RD path. Just quit my finance job yesterday in order to go back to school. I took the GRE’s back in April so I feel your pain. let me know if you have any questions about anything! Would be cool to share stories as we go through this.
