Yolk.

1 · Jun 18, 2012 · 14 Comments

If you follow me on Instagram, then you already know how delicious my breakfast was…

But for those of you that don’t…we went to Yolk in Streeterville and I cannot possibly recommend this place more if you’re ever in Chicago.  They have 3 locations – Streeterville, River North and South Loop.

The menu is VAST.  There is most definitely something for everyone.

Healthy Start Waffles for me (made with multi-grain batter!!).  Topped with yogurt, granola and strawberries.  SO good.

Cinnamon Roll French Toast for him.  Not just cinnamon roll-flavored french toast.  An actual cinnamon roll, icing and all, split in 3, made into french toast and served.

Gooooooood morning Chicago!

And with that, I’m off!

You’re in Chicago?! That’s my neck of the woods! lol I’ve been to Yolk once with a friend. We were a little worse for wear that morning (long night, lol) but I remember the food was delicious!

We used to live in Streeterville!! Yolk wasn’t there at the time, but I’m definitely putting this on my list to try the next time we go back after seeing your waffles 🙂

Ahhh Cait, I was just there a few weeks ago, right before I moved, and believe it or not I ordered the exact same thing as you! Yolk is the best–just has too many choices and hard to decide 🙂
